Kohlrabi

Kohlrabi (also called German turnip) is rich in vitamin C. The Kohlrabi is popular for its anti-cancer properties. These properties relate to the high number of glycosylates in these vegetables.

A research on the Journal Acta Horticulturae has reported these anti-cancer properties of the kohlrabi. This research has analysed properties and contents of 11 bunches of kohlrabi. The green kohlrabi contains 4 times glycosylates that the classic white turnip.

The Kohlrabi is poor in calories, 100g of product has got only 27 calories. Moreover, the vitamin C helps the body producing carnitine, the substance that encourages our body to transform the fat in energy.
