INGREDIENTS
- 4 artichokes
- 150g of flour
- 150 ml of milk
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Frying oil
PREPARATION
Clean the artichokes and eliminate hardest leaves, the stems and whiskers in the middle of them.
In the end cut them In regular cloves. After you clean them, dip them in water and lemon not to let them darken.
Boil them for almost 10 mins until they become soft and let them cool down.
In a bowl add flour, milk and whipped egg, putting salt and pepper as well.
Let the batter rest for around 10 mins.
Pour enough frying oil in a pan and let it heat up. When the oil is ready pour the battered artichokes inside the oil and fry them on both sides.
Drain the artichokes and put them on kitchen paper. Serve them hot.
